Reservation: Confirmation of the reservation entails payment of 50% of the total service, the remaining amount will be paid before boarding. In the event that weather conditions do not allow the safe enjoyment of the services, always with the presence of the client in the base port of the contracted boat, a change of date will be proposed and, if this is not possible, 90% of the advance payment will be refunded. Cancellation by the client entails the loss of the reservation. In the event that the client decides not to show up at the base port due to weather forecasts that are not optimal, this will be considered a cancellation by the client.

Contract: To formalize the contract, it is essential to present a personal identification document. The signing of the aforementioned contract implies acceptance by both parties of the rental conditions.

For rentals without hiring a skipper, it is essential to have the corresponding qualification. There are boats that require hiring a crew.

Skipper service: 100€ for 1/2 day and 180€ for the full day. Service not included in boats with mandatory crew.

Deposit: 1,000€ in cash or by credit card (boats less than 7 meters in length). For boats over 7 meters in length, please consult. The deposit will be used to cover any damage, defects or losses that the client may cause to the boat or its equipment. The deposit must be paid prior to boarding. Once the rental has finished, when the boat is returned and the CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA S.L. staff checks and confirms that it is in the same condition as when it was delivered to the client, the deposit will be refunded.

Boat fuel is only included in the price when indicated. When not included, the boat must be returned with a full tank, as delivered. Otherwise, the price of the fuel consumed will be charged plus a penalty supplement, which can be deducted from the deposit.

Rental hours: Full day from 10am to 6pm, 1/2 day morning from 9:30am to 1:30pm, 1/2 day afternoon from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.

The boat will be delivered to the corresponding location as indicated in the reservation, at the contracted time; it is recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance to be able to leave at the agreed time. A delay by the client does not entitle us to extend the rental period beyond the contracted period. If due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances the departure must be delayed, this will not imply any reduction in the agreed price, nor any changes in the time of return of the boat. A penalty may be charged if the boat is returned outside the contracted time, which may be deducted from the deposit.

Insurance: CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA, S.L. has a third-party liability insurance policy that covers the client, as well as a comprehensive insurance with a deductible that covers damages to the client and to third parties, including the crew, as long as these have not been caused by negligence or misuse of the boat.

Safety on board: It is essential to carry on board during the service the mobile phone specified in the contract, in order to be able to contact or be contacted by CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA, S.L. in case of emergency. It is not permitted to exceed the maximum number of people on board specified for the chartered vessel. You may also not enter, remain in or exit the water with the engine running.
