Regatta Ophiusa (4/26 - 5/1)

Join this good sailing experience and feel the Mediterranean Sea in its purest form by participating in the prestigious Ophiusa regatta. The journey departs from Barcelona on 4/27 and the destination is Formentera. There are 6 days of emotions on board, intensity on the high seas and absolute relaxation on this very special island. A good time to enjoy the sensations of a sailing trip and to visit an island like this without crowds.

It is an experience for those who want to experience the sea aboard a spectacular sailboat. Combine leisure and teamwork to enjoy the sea, sailing, food and good company.

Day 1: Meeting at 9h in the port of Mataró, base port of the sailboat, to distribute cabins and luggage. We will also finish the preparations and check the elements of the boat. We will carry out basic navigation and safety explanations, which will be repeated and expanded during navigation. We will distribute the tasks for maintenance of the ship, we will make the supply list for the different meals according to the tastes of the crew, we will buy it and load it to the ship. We will set sail to the sea coasting towards the South no later than 2:00 p.m., we are expected to arrive in Barcelona around 5:00 p.m. to attend the organization meeting. There is the possibility of meeting directly in Barcelona

Day 2: Departure of the Ophiusa Port Olimpic regatta from Barcelona - La Savina (Formentera).

Day 3: Regatta

Day 4: Deadline for arrival in Formentera at 15h. During this day, at 19h, the awards ceremony and the final regatta party are held. All the time you arrive before will be used as free time to discover the Island. The boat will remain in port or in cove as agreed by the captain and crew and the weather conditions.

Day 5: Prepare the boat for the journey back to Mataró. Departure time according to the weather forecast.

Day 6: Arrival in Mataró no later than 15h. Pick up and clean boat.

You can return by plane from Ibiza, the flight and additional transport are not included.

6 places are available, to share in 3 large cabins, one of them with a private bathroom.

All items not included in the price will be divided by the number of crew except the skipper. The purchase of supplies will be made on the first day according to the group's preferences. Federal licenses cost €25/person.

There is the possibility of joining or leaving before the complete plan, except for the regatta crossing. The price of the activity will be the same, and additional transportation costs will not be included.
